Parking Lot Etiquette

1. When dropping someone off at the grocery store to do a quick 'run in and grab'... DO NOT go park in a far away, unnoticeable corner, and expect to be found.

2. Similarly, when exiting an event, do not race ahead in the dark, in the rain, to a spot three parking lots away, that your passengers are unfamiliar with. It IS unreasonable to expect them to roam around hoping to spot you.

3. Be certain to turn your car off before leaving your vehicle.

4. Remove all coffee mugs, briefcases, or muffins from the roof of your car, before driving out of the parking lot.

5. Refrain from blaring contemporary rap music that uses the 'N' word, while exiting the area.

6. Be sure to close the windows before commentating and critiquing pedestrians standing only a few feet away.

7. Carry a photo of your car in your wallet at all times. This is to remind you, after minutes of aimless searching, that you owned a green Audi in 1990, now you own a Flex.

8. Be wise, swallow your pride, and let someone else do the parking.
