"Dancing In The Streets"

Driving through the city,
there are many
unpredictabilities:
Construction
Parades
One Way Streets.
I did not expect, however,
to see a gaggle of geese
partying in the middle
of the road. 
I was one of many cars
who simply stopped,
and waited.
I watched in awe.
The geese were completely
oblivious to the
world around them,
to the danger,
to the road block
they had created.
Then the drivers began
honking, and
yelling, and
were obviously
becoming impatient.
Having been there,
on a schedule,
feeling the pressure
of time...
I understood
their frustration.
But as I am
on vacation,
I could have
watched
the geese
all day.
